Objectives:


The Satellite System Development Department designs, manufactures and operates the StriX series of our unique small SAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar) satellites. We have well experienced staff from industries of the traditional space to frontier small satellites as well as the other manufacturing industris. Traditionally, developments of satellites had mainly catered for public sector’s demands and had been developed only one satellite at a time. At Synspective, we have achieved a speedy production system by downsizing satellites to 1/10th the size of conventional ones, and plan to launch six satellites by mid 2020s.


In this position, as a part of the Bus Electronics Team, you will be involved in various aspects of designing and evaluating the harnesses for our StriX satellites.



Job requirements


  • Design and maintenance-design of satellite’s harness system (including RF cables, grounding network, and EMC)
  • Plan the drawing of the harness including Pin description table, Routing, Coaxial semi-rigid cable drawings
  • Create procedures regarding integration to Satellites
  • Select components for the harness and connectors
  • Design and procure for the harness testing
  • Coordinate with other harness manufacturing companies



Minimum qualifications:

  • Experience in designing the harness using 3D CAD
  • Familiarity with communication protocols: R422, CAN, SpaceWire
  • Able to commute to Tsukuba Space Center
  • Business level Japanese or English
  • Communication and adaptation skills to work with members with diverse backgrounds and culture under fast-paced working environment



Preferred qualifications:

  • Conversational level in Japanese language

Satellite System Development Departmentは、弊社独自の小型SAR(合成開口レーダ)衛星である「StriX」シリーズの設計、製造、運用を行っています。チームは従来の宇宙産業や拡大する小型衛星業界、また多数基生産に資する製造業からの経験豊富なメンバー、アドバイザーで構成されています。「人工衛星の開発」は、これまで官需中心で1基単位の生産しか行われていませんでしたが、弊社は衛星サイズを従来の1/10に小型化することでスピーディーな生産体制を実現し、翌数年の間に6基の衛星打ち上げを予定しています。

本ポジションでは、Bus Electronics Teamの一員として弊社StriX衛星のハーネスの設計、評価における様々な場面で業務に携わっていただきます。




■具体的には

  • 衛星システムハーネスの設計及び維持設計 (RFケーブルを含む、接地系統、EMCも考慮)
  • ハーネス図面の作成(ピンアサインメント表、ルーティング、同軸セミリジッドケーブルの成形図面含む)
  • 衛星へのIntegrationに関わる手順作成
  • ハーネス材、コネクタの選定
  • 試験用ハーネスの設計、調達
  • ハーネスメーカーとの調整



Job requirements



必須要件

  • 3D CADを用いたハーネス設計業務経験
  • 通信プロトコルの知見:RS422、CAN、SpaceWire
  • 筑波(茨城県)勤務できる方、勤務地:つくば駅から車またはバスで10分
  • ビジネスレベルの英語 or 日本語力
  • 様々なバックグラウンドのメンバーが集まる環境下でも関係者と意思疎通を図るマインドセット
