Spacecraft Operations/Ground Segment Engineer

Job description


  • Satellite Operation team management
  • Design and develop ground systems
  • Integrate ground stations with ground systems
  • Communicate with satellite development team both software and hardware
  • Adjusting regulations with domestic/overseas government
  • Motivated to define self-goal as required and take action to achieve the goals

Job requirements

Minimum qualifications

  • Experience in developing a software or system using more than one programing language (preferably in C, C++ or Go)
  • Experience in developing a spacecraft control system
  • Basic knowledge of TCP/IP network
  • Communication skill for working with other team members
  • Leadership skill pulling the small team (more than 3 members)

Preferred qualifications 

  • Two or more years of experience in satellite operation
  • Experience in developing the system on the public cloud environment like GCP
  • Experience in working as a team leader among five or more members
  • Business level English (write and read)
  • Business level Japanese

    Compensation & Arrangements:
    • Employment system: Full-time(Nontenured). All members are contract-based employees. The contract is renewed in every 6 months based on Management by objective to assist individual growth and team growth
