Job description


The Ground System Department is responsible for 1) the operation of our in-house developed radar satellites (synthetic aperture radar “SAR”), and 2) for the design, development and operation of our satellite data sales platform (DaaS).

In December 2020, the first our satellite “StriX-α” was successfully launched. By 2023, a total of six satellites would be in space and would be observing every city over 1 million population in Asia at least once a day. By 2030, we plan to have 30 satellites which can cover cities with over 1 million people all over the world. There are many technical challenges we enjoy facing while operating satellites and managing big data.

In this position, you will be involved in the following work within a highly diverse team that includes international members.



  • Design and develop our satellite data sales platform (DaaS) while understanding high level of securities

  • Backend work for DaaS system, manage data, and develop the dashboard

  • Manage the DaaS development team



Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience in a team management (2-4 people)

  • Experience in developing systems on GCP or AWS for a customer

  • Experience in software testing and test-driven development

  • Conversation level English

  • Operation experience of in-house service



Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a system operation

  • Experience in development in Go- language

  • Document creation and management

  • Technical support experience

仕事内容


地上システム開発部(Ground System Department)は、自社開発の合成開口レーダー(SAR)、StriX衛星シリーズを運用管理するシステム、および衛星から取得した観測データを顧客へ販売するDaaSシステムの設計、開発、運用を担っています。


2020年12月にはStriX初号機の打ち上げに成功し、2023年までに6機を打ち上げてアジアの人口100万人以上の都市の観測データを1日1回以上取得できるようにし、2025〜2030年の間に30機体制を実現、世界の100万人以上の都市をカバーする計画です。宇宙空間の軌道上にある衛星を運用管理するシステムは取り扱うデータ量も多く、取り組みがいのある技術課題も多くあります。


本ポジションでは、外国籍メンバーを含む多様性の高いチーム内で下記の業務に携わっていただきます。


  • 冗長性、セキュリティーを確保した衛星データのDaaSシステム全体の設計および開発
  • DaaSシステムバックエンド、データ管理、ダッシュボードの開発
  • DaaS開発チームのマネジメント

Job requirements

必須条件

  • 開発チームのマネジメント経験 (2-4名)
  • GCPまたはAWS上での顧客向けシステムの開発経験
  • ソフトウェアテスト、テスト駆動開発の経験
  • 日常会話レベルの英語
  • 自社サービスの運用経験
